Digital Product Design:

Muuvment

Organizations are under pressure from clients, regulators, shareholders and employees to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. With an equal focus on education and action, Muuvment built a dynamic online platform for quick deployment of corporate sustainability programs that generate measurable impact.

As Muuvment’s Content Director, I researched, wrote and led the creation of all educational content on the platform, including interactive videos and training courses.

I developed the overall content strategy and defined the language layer of the product—the information architecture, naming conventions, content models and reusable components—to deliver a scalable and intuitive user experience.

Together with my design and technology peers, I devised a system of campaigns and action types to accommodate a variety of user interests and preferences. But the core content model was simple: teach people why they should care and offer them simple ways to help.

For users seeking more engagement, we offered extended learning resources and discussion rooms.

Throughout every campaign, real-time impact tracking—of donations, volunteer hours and pledges—created a sense of shared momentum for employees and made reporting effortless for executives. Not only were they making a difference, they could see the difference they were making together.
